Some customers have contacted our customer service department to request that changes should be made to the sending system via SMTP, namely the confirmation of senders, due to the fact that without this confirmation any user could use the email address of any domain without SPF records, which would be terrible for the sender score reputation of the domains. In addition, some users could use public accounts, such as Gmail, Hotmail, etc… sending email marketing without any authentication.
This is especially true when the SMTP server is configured for multiple users, such as a sales team, for example, to send from their email client, as the administrator had no control, if users changed anything without notifying the responsible.
To meet this need, our staff add a new feature for users sending email marketing by smtp. Enabling this option, it is not possible to send any campaign without previously adding the sender in the online panel.
