{"id":42126,"date":"2014-05-28T08:04:47","date_gmt":"2014-05-28T08:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.lvh.me\/blog\/2014\/05\/28\/custom-senders-for-opt-out-confirmation\/"},"modified":"2022-05-13T17:01:26","modified_gmt":"2022-05-13T17:01:26","slug":"custom-senders-for-opt-out-confirmation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wpstaging.mailrelay.com\/en\/blog\/2014\/05\/28\/custom-senders-for-opt-out-confirmation\/","title":{"rendered":"Custom senders for opt-out confirmation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So far, when an email was sent by our free email newsletter software to confirm opt-out, the address used was the one configured on <strong>&#8220;Senders by default&#8221;<\/strong> for the account which would receive the <strong>reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This had a major drawback, if you needed to use various senders for different domains (for instance for agencies which need to send emails for multiple clients), these users had to create a single generic sender to avoid confusing brands and companies.<\/p>\n<p>This has been fixed and now the software will use the address of the sender <strong>(email and FROM: field)<\/strong> configured on each independent newsletter at the time the message is being sent, thus maintaining the image of each company, which will be better for these companies and the subscribers as well.<\/p>\n<p>This of course only applies to customers <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mailrelay.com\/en\/2013\/08\/06\/new-method-for-managing-opt-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">using the unsubscribe link <\/a>in our free email newsletter software and only for the options that will require the software to send<\/p>\n<p>A confirmation email to complete the process.<\/p>\n<p>It is a small improvement on our free email newsletter software that we hope will help you to manage your campaigns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So far, when an email was sent by our free email newsletter software to confirm opt-out, the address used was the one configured on &#8220;Senders by default&#8221; for the account which would receive the reports.
